My favourite Christmas Tree decorations

I’m well in the Christmas spirit and when I was getting the decorations out of the box I kept seeing old favourites and a few new decorations we got this year. I thought it would be a good idea to share them on the blog with you since it’s blogmas!

This year I definitely got the Christmas bug a little earlier than usual. Normally I’m pretty chill about Christmas until the 1st of December, which is when the Christmas music goes on and the tree goes up. This year, I was sucked in by the first of November, but I held off putting the decorations up until the 20th of November. It was hard!

My favourite Christmas Tree decorations

The Phone Box

This one I picked up this year in Tesco, pretty much as soon as they had their Christmas stuff out. It was part of a 3 for 2 deal, so I actually got this one for free (technically). I decided I needed this one as it’s very British, and since it’s red it matches my theme for the tree.

The Disco Ball

This one has been on the tree for years and years. I think it’s one my mum got when I was quite a bit younger. I love having it on the tree even if it doesn’t quite match the rest of the decor.

The Sparkly Pine-cones

These came in a set of 25 baubles I got from Tesco for £5, and I’m so so glad I did get it. There are more than enough pine-cones around the woods to have used real ones, but they’re either too small or filled with insects so I decided to pass on that one!

The Mistletoe

Okay, this one isn’t on the tree – even though it is a tree decoration! – but I couldn’t leave it out. I’ve wanted mistletoe for years, and I’ve never found one that I liked. I finally did in Tesco and I took advantage of the 3 for 2 deal, the same as I did with the phone box ornament.
