Dr. Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover Review

Dr. Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover Review

I must mention it in all of my cleaning posts, but our house gets dirty, and I mean dirty. Mud, feathers, straw, dust, you name it, if it exists in the woodland or on the farm, it eventually makes it’s way into the house at some point. My carpets have had stains that I’ve been trying to get rid of for months! I thought I’d tried it all, until I found the Dr. Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover.

Like I mentioned above, my carpets have had stains for a while now. When we’re coming in and out in the rain, and the dog seems to jump straight over the doormat, it’s hard to keep all the mud and grass stains out of the house. I’ve tried numerous other carpet cleaners, including Vanish and Vax, but these just really weren’t coming out. They’d dried into the carpet, the mud itself I’d hoovered up but the dirty muddy water had left it’s mark.

I wasn’t getting anywhere with it. It wasn’t even fading! I then saw Mrs. Hinch using Dr. Beckmann’s Carpet Stain Remover. I got really excited, but then the thought of it being expensive popped into my head and I kind of just accepted my carpets would be dirty forever.

I happened to be in Tesco picking a few things up in the cleaning isle, when I saw it. I got really excited, and thought I’d just check how much it was. If it worked it’d be worth the price, right? I was amazed to find it was under £4, so I grabbed it and I’m so pleased I did.

Like I was saying about the stains on the carpet, they’ve been there a while. I’ve used a few other different brands of carpet cleaner, but nothing was getting it up. Armed with the Dr. Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover, I set to work.

I do advise reading the instructions on the bottle before using it, and leave a smaller hole than you think necessary. I pierced it once, and thought it too small, so made another small hole. I really didn’t need to, as the sponge and brush head spread the product really well. A thought for next time I suppose!

I then scrubbed the carpet with it over the stain. As I brushed it over the stain I could already see it working, and the stain was disappearing even after just a few seconds! I swear this stuff is magic in a bottle.

The best part is, you leave it to do it’s thing. I didn’t need to dry the carpet, as so little goes such a long way, and I didn’t need to hoover anything up afterwards.  I just left it to dry after a quick wipe over.

While it was still damp, there was a slight shadow of where the stain had been, and as I mentioned in my stories, I was going to go over it again once it had dried. Once it was dry though, I couldn’t find even the shadow, and I knew exactly where it was. Nothing was left, and it didn’t make the carpet go crunchy or make it noticeably different to the rest of the carpet around the patch I’d cleaned. My thoughts

I will definitely be repurchasing this Dr. Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover. I’m so pleased with the results, and the price is amazing! Considering I’ve paid £10+ for other carpet stain removers, that aren’t even half as good as this one, I’m more than happy with the price.

It’s brilliant on loads of different stains. After I got the mud out of the carpet, I was so excited that I started finding any little mark to get out. It worked with all of them, and now my carpets are spotless! It even got a spot of blood off the carpet in the hallway, and blood can be one of the hardest things to get out especially once it’s dried!

I really can’t recommend this product enough. I’m so pleased to have found something that really works, and doesn’t break the bank. Have you ever used Dr. Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover? Do you think you’ll try it?
